Pay-Per-Lead — Leads Delivered, You Pay Per Lead | Zolley

Pay-per-lead

You pay for leads. That’s it.

We build the funnel, write the ads and carry the ad spend. When a real person in your area asks for your service, you pay for that lead — and only that. The risk of making the ads work sits with us. That’s the deal.

Every lead server-stamped — time, source and consent on the record.

Real people, asking for your service. The duplicate didn’t count — and didn’t cost.

Sound familiar?

Pay-per-lead exists because of four problems every call-driven business knows by heart.

Small-business owner in the back of his work van, head in hand, staring at a laptop
Feast or famineSlammed one month, quiet the next — and no way to turn the tap when you need it.
Referrals dried upThe old network still sends work, just not enough of it — and you can’t schedule word of mouth.
Bought lists, not real interestYou’ve paid for names that were months old by the time you called — with no way to tell whether the person ever asked to hear from anyone.
Ad money into the darkYou’ve spent on marketing before — and still couldn’t say which half of it produced anything.

How it works.

Four steps, and the first three are ours.

01 — We build itLanding pages, ad creative, targeting and tracking — the whole funnel, built and owned by us.
02 — We carry the spendThe ad budget is ours, not yours. If the campaign doesn’t produce, that’s our problem to fix.
03 — Leads arriveCalls and inquiries from your area land in your inbox and on your phone the moment they happen.
04 — You pay per leadA price per lead, agreed up front, in writing. No retainer to justify, no campaign report to decode.

Choose how much of the work we handle.

Qualified leads are the baseline. The question is how much further we take it — from raw prospect, to confirmed appointment, to a live call on the line.

More Zolley involvement → higher prospect intent → less work for your team

Which tier fits — and the numbers for your market — get settled on the call, in writing. How the tiers are priced.

Add-on: know who is already shopping.

Zolley Data adds in-market audiences and visitor identification to the campaigns behind your leads — so they reach people who are already looking, not people who might be.

What counts

You get the lead definition in writing.

Most lead sellers keep “what counts as a lead” vague on purpose — the vagueness is the business model. Ours isn’t. Before you spend anything, your agreement spells out what counts, what doesn’t, and what happens when something slips through.

  • A real person, in your service area, asking for what you actually do
  • Defined with you at kickoff — your area, your job types, your idea of qualified
  • Spam, bots, wrong numbers and duplicates filtered — and not billed
  • Every lead server-stamped: time, source, and the consent record behind it
  • You see every lead as it arrives — nothing happens behind a curtain. Our standard of proof.

The definition, the price and the dispute terms live in your agreement — not in the fine print of an invoice. What counts, on the pricing page.

Automated nurture · add-on

Don’t just get the leads. Get them worked.

A lead is worth the most in the first five minutes — people go with whoever answers. But most businesses can’t chase every lead, every hour, for months. So we do it for them: an add-on nearly every lead client takes, where we automate the outreach, the follow-up and the ongoing nurture.

  • Outreach — a real reply in seconds, any hour messaging allows — even 8 PM on a Sunday
  • Follow-up — it keeps going until there’s an answer, not just an attempt
  • Nurture — the “not ready yet” leads stay warm for months; that’s where the cheapest deals come from
  • Booked appointments land straight on your calendar, with reminders so they show

Leads you don’t chase are money you already spent. On Pay Per Appointment and Live Transfer, working the lead is already our job — this add-on gives Pay Per Lead clients the same engine. Ask for the add-on price on the call — how pricing works.

The honest fit test.

Pay-per-lead is built for a particular shape of business, and it takes about two minutes to tell whether yours is one. We would rather work that out with you than have you find out after signing.

It fits when…

  • Someone answers the phone — or lets the platform answer for you
  • You can take on more work this month, not someday
  • You know what a customer is worth, so a price per lead means something
  • You want volume without carrying the ad-spend risk yourself

It doesn’t when…

  • You are already at capacity — more leads would only mean more missed calls. Worth revisiting once there is room
  • Your customers order, buy or walk in on their own rather than ask first — restaurants, retail, e-commerce. That’s managed advertising
  • Your sale closes over months of nurture, not a phone call — possible, but a different design
  • Nobody can answer, and the nurture add-on is not something you want answering for you — a lead needs someone on the other end to be worth buying

Not sure which you are? That’s exactly what the fifteen-minute call is for — or start with the free marketing audit. Which of the two fits your business.

Straight answers.

The questions everyone asks about pay-per-lead.

Are the leads exclusive to me?

It depends on your market and vertical, and we’d rather tell you exactly how it works for yours than print a blanket promise here. Whatever the answer is for you, it goes in the agreement in writing — before you pay for anything.

What do I pay for a bad lead?

Nothing, if it’s genuinely bad — spam, bots, wrong numbers and duplicates don’t count and aren’t billed. The full definition and the dispute process are written into your agreement, so “bad lead” is never a debate about feelings.

What does a lead cost?

It depends on your vertical and your market — a roofing lead in Tampa and a med-spa lead in Austin are different economics. You get the real number on the call, agreed up front, before anything starts. Here’s how the tiers are priced.

How fast will leads start?

Campaigns can produce leads within weeks of going live. We’ll give you a realistic ramp on the call — conservative, not optimistic — because the fastest way to lose a client is to overpromise week one.

Do I have to work the leads myself?

Only on Pay Per Lead — and even there, most clients add automated nurture so the outreach, follow-up and long-term chasing run themselves. On Pay Per Appointment and Pay Per Live Transfer, working the lead is our job by definition: you get a booked meeting or a live prospect, not a phone number to chase.

Do I need a new website first?

Not necessarily. Leads land on pages we build and run for the campaign. If your own site needs work, we’ll say so — but it isn’t a toll gate for starting.

Who owns the leads?

You do. Every lead delivered to you is your contact, in your CRM, exportable — always.

Do you work with my industry?

If a person has to answer an inquiry and close it — a call, a quote, a consult — probably yes. Home services, professional services, medical and the regulated lead verticals are where pay-per-lead earns its keep. See the industries we build for; if yours isn’t listed, ask — the list is who we’ve built for, not who we’re limited to.

How is this different from running my own ads?

With your own ads you carry the spend, the creative and the risk, and you pay whether or not anything comes of it. With pay-per-lead we carry all of that and you pay for the result. If your customers buy on their own rather than ask first — restaurants, retail, e-commerce — that’s a different model: managed advertising.
